Commercial Duct Systems employs various types of sealing methods, such as spot, stitch, and continuous welded seams. This ensures that our product is impeccably sealed against air, vapor, and liquid leakage. Properly sealed duct is critical to the integrity and efficiency of your HVAC system(s), minimizing energy loss and maximizing performance.
** As of January 2025, we offer continuous welded seams on any gauge 18 or heavier, and tack/seal welding on any gauge 26 and heavier. We are expecting our welding capabilities to grow with the advent of new equipment, so we encourage you to call our office to discuss your project requirements.

LONG/SINGLE-SEAM WELDED OVAL
Does your project have limited clearance for duct above ceiling and call for round duct? We have a solution that allows you to meet airflow (CFM) requirements without compromise, while keeping the duct extremely compact.
Meet long/single-seam welded oval, our mode of fabrication that gives the customer near-infinite flexibility. We are able to produce rolled oval duct in maximum lengths of 5′ (60″) that meets the same water column requirements of spiral seam duct, and can be fabricated at virtually any size 4″ or above on either dimension (e.g. 100″). By selecting this method of fabrication, we are not required to produce oval material strictly by an ovalization chart, allowing each dimension to be precisely what the project engineer listed in your specifications.
Long/single-seam welded oval can be fabricated with all of the options we offer for standard spiral seam oval (grille-boxes, grille-cutouts/holes, paint-grip metal, RF connections/flanges, single-blade dampers, etc.).
